George Joseph “Joe”Ketcham, 70, of 1401 N. 23rd Street, Escanaba, formerly of Gladstone, passed away Thursday May 26, 2016 at the Upper Peninsula Health System in Marquette following complications of a heart attack.

Joe was born December 11, 1945 in Escanaba, MI the son of George and Marjorie (Ketcham) Demeuse and was raised in Gladstone. Joe was a 1965 graduate ofGladstone High School. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Arlene Cayer on April 16, 1966 at All Saints Church in Gladstone. Following graduation,Joe was drafted into the U.S. Army and was stationed in Anaheim, Germany. Upon His honorable discharge, he and Arlene returned to Gladstone to raise their family.
