Frederick M. Hansen, age 68, of Gladstone passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 in the early morning hours at the Marquette General Hospital, surrounded in love by his family.

Fred was my cousin and we spent a lot of time together when we were children. He was the older brother I never had and I have very fond memories of him.
When I moved back from Florida in 2007, my sister, Nikki and I went to the UP to visit with Fred and Hope.
About I year ago, I sent him a Christmas card and got a message from him on my phone.
I know he loved his family a great deal — it was all he talked about the last time we spoke.
Please know that he is forever in my heart and my prayers are with his family.
Love, Candy
