Evangeline C. Demeuse, age 80, of Gladstone, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at Rennes East Nursing Home in Peshtigo, WI.
Vangie was born June 9, 1938 in Trenary, MI, the daughter of Kenneth and Anna (Albrecht) Brill. She was united in marriage to Robert Demeuse in October of 1987. In the early 1970’s she started bartending at the Spot. She worked until retirement when Bob and her spent all their time together.
Vangie was a very outgoing person and enjoyed being with others. She liked to keep a tidy house and keep herself busy with yard work. She also volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul in Gladstone and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone.
Vangie will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Daughter: Tammy (Bill) Klotz of Escanaba, MI
7 Grandchildren: Krista Hellermann, Nicole (Brandor) Guerrero, Michael Demeuse, Kyle Demeuse, Danielle (Trey) Holland, Kevin Demeuse, and Megan Demeuse.
5 Great Grandchildren: Kitana Hellermann, Nicholas Hellermann, Brandor Guerrero, Thomas Hellermann, and Layla Guerrero.
In addition to her Parents, Vangie was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert, 7 Sisters, and 1 Brother.
Family will receive friends Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 1:00 PM at All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Brian Gerber officiating. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall. Burial will take place in the Spring at Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Demeuse family.
