Mary Jo, so sorry to hear your Mom passed away, I remember going to your Mom and Dad’s place and how your Mom would pinch our cheeks when she greeted us. I was even able to take my kids there and she was just as sweet to them. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your cousin, Helen (Wils) Morales

    My Dear Cuz, Mary Jo,

Just want you to know I am thinking of you and yours. Boy, the memories of your Mom! Being on the farm with you and your folks, eating your Mom’s fantastic meals, our conversations when we were kids with your Mom and Dad. Our First Communion with all the families there, going to church and Chatechism at St Charles, and of course, visiting as an adult enjoying her meals and homemade dandelion wine 🙂 Sunday’s at Grams with all the Aunts, Uncles & Cousins!

I didn’t know your Mom’s history other than she married my Uncle Everett and came to the US with him to start a new life!

I know your Mom wanted to be with your Dad as you told me so now they are looking over us from above with my Mom and Sisters and so many of our family members.

Take good care and keep in touch.

    With Love, Barbara

Although I do not remember Eugenia well, I do remember her friendliness and the Wils Farm. My grandmother, Hilda (Wnuck) Keranen, (from the farm just south of the Wils farm) used to take me along when she visited Eugenia and Everett during my summer visits. Grandma would always remark how they had the prettiest and cleanest farm she had ever seen! I remember driving up to the pristine white farm buildings and always being welcomed as if I were someone special. I was amazed to read Eugenia’s life story. I am so sorry to hear of her death and my prayers are with you and your family.
