Aunt Meta and Uncle Gene
I remember so well as a child when we would visit, Barney would be so excited to see us, always joking around , treating me as he would his own grandchildren, even our own children were very special to him,one time our oldest son , than 3 years old wanted a closer look at Barneys rabbits in their pen, he picked him up and placed him in the cages with the rabbits , he had a blast.
I was very fortunate and proud to have Meta & Gene as my God parents, they have played a large roll in my walk with Christ and have been wonderful christian examples for me follow, I will see Uncle gene again one day as I will my parents and my own son who have gone before me.
God Bless you Aunt Meta and Uncle Gene

Dear Meta and family
It always was a very nice time when Barney would stop for a visit and bring his grandchild along while we were farming at wicks or on the home farm. It was a great pleasure to known him.

We remember Eugene for his kindness to kids and when he had the Garden House when we would walk by & he saw us he would peek out the window and get our attention. Even when he was in Cornell, we would look forward to seeing him and Meta in the Mall on Sunday and he would hide behind a plant when he would see us coming. He was a pleasant & loving man with his little lady, Meta. We missed them when they were no longer out & about. We have loving memories of him and sad that he is no longer here. God rest his soul. And our sympathy to our Meta and family.
