5 Tributes for “Eileen Williamson

I’m devastated to hear of the passing of Eileen. I lived with her as her roommate at Christian Park for a year. She was a bright spot in everyone’s life. Despite the differences in our age, we just seemed to click. I loved her as a friend and a person. She will be deeply missed. Deepest prayers and sympathy to her family members. It was a honor to know this loving person. I’m sure she will leave a huge hole in your lives. May God comfort you always.

My Grandmother was an incredible person. She was kind, giving, supportive, sweet and just an all around great person. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for her friends and family. Her and my Grandpa involved my sister and I in so many things. Like cross country and downhill skiing, trips to Chicago to see my Aunt Maggie, trips to Florida, letting us stay out at their beach house with them for weeks at a time during the summer. I am forever grateful for all the memories I have with them. Even though my heart is broken, I am thankful she is no longer suffering in pain. I am thankful I was able to be with her when she took her last breath. She is now back with my grandpa, which she has wanted for three years. Words cannot express how much I miss this woman. Life will be so different without her. I love and miss you so much. Until we meet again, Gram.

Our dear Eileen. I will miss my neighbor and good friend. You are back with your soul mate. You two had the best marriage I have ever seen. So many memories and laughs that we shared.
May God bless you. Thank you for being so wonderful. I was going to bring you a cup of good coffee the day you left us. Love you.

So sorry to hear of Eileen’s passing. It was a joy to know her and Gerry. They were genuinely great people. Sympathy to their whole family.

My gram was the best lady I knew. I am the person I am today because of her. Her unconditional love, support and kindness was the best! Papa and her took us on so many amazing adventures. We made thousands of beautiful memories together. I will be forever grateful for all that they both have done for us and all they have taught us. I wish every child could have the grandparents that Aimee and I were blessed with. Bike riding around Mackinac Island, Disney World, visiting Aunt Mag in Chicago, visiting Uncle Lou and Aunt Noreen in Florida. No one had fun like we did! Swimming out at the lake, fishing, skiing, riding the 4 wheeler and so much more. We definitely hit the grandparent jackpot. I will miss every single inch of her, until her and I meet again. I’m so thankful I got to spend her final days with her, I would not trade that time for anything. Holding her hand, rubbing her feet, kissing her forehead, telling her how much I love her and listening to her tell the nurses and doctors how much she loves us and that we were her beautiful granddaughters. She really was the best. Rest in Peace, Gram, love you always and forever.
