Edith Mae McNutt, age 92, of the Ingham Regional Medical Care Facility in Okemos (formerly of Perkins), passed away Friday evening November 1, 2013 in Okemos.

Edith was born May 13, 1921 in Adair, MI the daughter of Clarence and Emma (Milton) Harms. She was raised in Riley Center, MI where she attended school. She was united in marriage to Phillip McNutt on May 7, 1938 and they made their home in Riley Center. In 1957 they moved to Perkins where they raised their children.

Edith was a homemaker with a passion for garage sales and collecting antiques. She loved sewing, making crafts and tending to her yard and garden. She served on the Perkins School Board and P.T.A. for several years. She was a volunteer for the community Green Thumb Program.

Edith was a member of the Perkins American Legion Auxiliary.

Paul (Kellie) McNutt of Hartland, MI

3 daughters:
Gloria Robbins of Mason, MI
Loretta (Kenneth) Robbins of Mason, MI
Roxanne (Michael) Fournier of Mason, MI

24 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren

In addition to her parents, her husband of 40 years, Phillip on September 6, 1978 and her sister, Ellen Walker, preceded Edith in death.
