Dorothy Ann Peterson, age 80, of Wells passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
Dorothy was born August 21, 1936 in Marinette, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Pichette) Bromund. She was united in marriage to Robert Peterson on November 14, 1953 in Manistique. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the casino, playing Yahtzee, cards and poker. She also enjoyed watching her sopa operas.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Robert Peterson of Cheboygan, MI; daughters, Nancy (Steve) Tufnell of Wells and Cindy Markham of Gladstone, her adopted daughter and granddaughter, Melissa Isaacson of Escanaba; grandchildren, Cory, Wendy, Laurie, Stacey, Jason, Carson, Keeli, Bria, Logan, Michael, Christopher, Samantha and Andrew, eleven great grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene (Val) Bromund of Cleveland, OH, Robert Bromund of West Seneca, NY and Steve (Fay) Bromund of Marinette, WI; one sister, Sandy (Ronald) Lemire of Menominee, MI and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her children, Sherry Johnson, Larry Peterson and Jamie Humbert, grandchildren, Tina, Melanie and Christy Tufnell, her parents and her sister, Joyce Bebo.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
