Dorothy Jean Pineda, age 74, of Escanaba passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
Dorothy was born September 20, 1947 in Monroe, Louisiana, the daughter of Wilber and Geraldine (Keen) Kirk. She was a longtime resident of New Orleans, before moving to Escanaba. She was united in marriage to Richard Pineda and loved spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Jerry (Debbie) Pineda Sr. and Richard A. Pineda; grandchildren, Kasey, Kelsey and Jerry Jr.; great granddaughter, Lily; sister, Barbara Bougie; niece, Barbara (John) Treloar and nephew, Charles Kirk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents and her sisters, Carol Kidd and Retha Kirk and brother-in-law Thomas J. Bougie.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
