Dick and family, I’m so sad to hear of Dorothy’s passing. She was such an amazing woman and I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that she has made such an impact on so many young lives. I am lucky to have been one of her kids for a little bit of time and she was always loving but fair. I will always remember getting my first paycheck and the first thing I bought was a little antique teacup w/ saucer to give her. That was 40 years ago! So many memories of that home in Harvey. Best taco salad ever! She taught me things that I have passed down to my own kids, so thank you for sharing her with us troubled, wayward kids. She truly made a positive impact in the world. Hugs to all of you. Fly with the angels Dorothy.

    Richard & family,
My heart hurts! Ms Dorothy was right by my side when my momma passed away. She gave me such great comfort letting me know how lovely my momma was and how beautiful she looked. All the help you and Ms Dorothy gave after my momma passed with helping with my dad was so greatly appreciated. I will miss her so very much. I couldn’t have made it through taking care of my momma without her, Marlene and Judy. Those three ladies were my rock. I know her and my parents are now together. Praying for you, Richard along with your family. ❤️

    Dear Dick and family,
So sorry to hear of Dorothy’s passing. 33 years ago your family opened your hearts and home to take care of Hannah before her adoption. The kindness Dorothy showed us all will always be remembered. She was truly very special person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

Dear Dick and Family. Broke my heart to hear about my dearest old friend, we go back over 50 some years. I could write a novel on all cries and laughter we had. Memories are the legacy of life, and Dorothy certainly did leave many memories for everyone that was fortunate enough to ever know and love her. Rest in Heaven my sweet life-long friend. We will dance on a cloud and have a shot of Jose Cuervo, when I see you again.
With my deepest sympathy, your in my thoughts, heart and prayers.
Blessings to you all Mary Lou and Family

    Dear Dick and Family,
I’m still in shock at the loss of Dorothy. I loved her very much and will miss her even more. She was a very special person and is leaving a giant hole to fill. I don’t even have the words to express how much she meant to me. As the tears are streaming down my face, I’m thinking of her. I love and miss you Dorothy Crabb!
