Donna K. Major, age 42, of 6011 Horseshoe 22.3 Drive; Gladstone (Escanaba Township) died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 9th, 2007 at home of an apparent heart attack.
Donna was born October 13th, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Glenn and Vanda (White) Williams and was raised in Hastings, Oklahoma and relocated to Delta County in 1997 from Dallas, Texas. Donna was employed as a nurses aide for a number of years and was a very dedicated and hardworking individual who loved her residents at Christian Park Village in Escanaba where she was currently employed. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. I hear she was just a wounderful person. She took care of my grandma Caswell for a while and did a really good job. She also worked with my step mom Mary. It was a shock to hear. If u ever need anything Kari Caswell at work knows how to get ahold of me…ya know if u ever want to talk…i know what its like to lose a mom…take care girl I’ll be thinking of you.

I can not imagine the sorrow you and Donna’s childern must be feeling. I am so very sorry for your loss, and she is a big loss to a lot of people. As luck would have it Donna had stopped by the house a week or so ago to drop off something for Sara. She was in her usual good mood and as she so often does she laughed easily. Please know that we are thinking of you in this dark time.

Donna was a very sweet and giving person. She was so good to our mother at the Village. She will be sorely missed. I remember her teasing Ma about her cookies that I had brought her just last week. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
