Gladstone, MI
Donna Lewis, age 82, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully April 2, 2024, with her beloved husband Russell Lewis at her side.
Donna was born September 29, 1941, in Escanaba, the daughter of Norman and Joyce (Champion) Doucette. She was raised in Escanaba and later graduated from Ishpeming High School. Donna eventually went to work for Mead Paper Corporation and retired following 27 years of employment.
Donna’s life was defined by her boundless love and generosity, qualities that touched every soul fortunate enough to cross her path. A fervent lover of animals, she embraced all creatures with the same warmth and care she bestowed upon her family, whom she cherished above all else. She expressed that love through the extravagant meals she prepared with joy. Donna took immense pleasure in spoiling her grandchildren, showering them with affection and gifts. Her presence was kindness and warmth.
Donna was a beautiful person inside and out. She cared so deeply for her family and friends and made an impact on all their lives. With profound sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, until we meet again.
Donna is survived by her husband Russell Lewis:
