We will always remember our Sunday visits, our trip to Canada, and hunting adventures. Don was very excited when he shot his first buck on our land. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace our friend.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Don. I have not seen him since he left Lockport, Il but have thought about him occasionally. I am Karen Hartney who was married to William (Willy) Hartney. Willy passed in January. Don was my daughter Karen’s GodFather. I think of him every 4th of July when Cindy was born. I remember that day. Was Don sick? Willy had cancer.

We lost touch with you when we left Lockpot in 1976. We lived in Wilmington for 29 years and in 2003, moved to Goose Lake. We only had 3 grandchildren and now have a great-granddaughter. In 1992, we both retired. Sorry to hear about Don. We used to have a lot of fun with him at the Fairmont Club.
