Diana Lynn Lordson, age 62, of Escanaba, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at her home with her husband by her side.

Lynn was born on November 10, 1959, in Cumberland, Maryland, the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Smith) Mackie. Lynn grew up and was a graduate of Gladstone High School. On June 15, 2012, Lynn was united in marriage to Dana Lordson, and together they shared 20 wonderful years making memories.

Lynn worked for 23 years at Northern Michigan Veneer as a pre-grader and thoroughly enjoyed her work and her friends there. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, playing cribbage, and gardening. In her younger years, she also enjoyed golfing with her dad. Lynn enjoyed riding motorcycles with Dana, and together they took many trips across Michigan. Most of all, Lynn loved her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and cherished their time together. She was always full of life and laughter. She will be truly missed by many.

Lynn is survived by her husband Dana Lordson, father Thomas A. Mackie, sons Thomas Norlander, Charles Snowaert, and Steven (Kasha) Snowaert, step-sons Jon (Kristie) Lordson and Dana Lordson, daughters Barbara Norlander and Diana Snowaert, step-daughter Elizabeth (Brandon) Lind, sisters Julie Delaney and Kathy (Dion) Pike, 16 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lynn is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Mackie.

A celebration of life honoring Lynn is being scheduled and will be announced at a later date. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Lordson family.

    I didn’t know Lynn in person, only on Facebook. We shared a lot of things on there. She would always like what I post and I liked what she would post. We did send each other messages asking each other things. I haven’t heard from her for a few months. It had me worried about her . I knew what she was going through. I will miss her. RIP Lynn. Very nice person.

    We’re so sorry for your loss, Charlie and Steven, and all of Lynn’s family. I didn’t know her very well, but because of your friendship with Jon, and her making him feel like a part of your family, it was like she was my extended family. Our hearts go out to all of you.

    She was so full of life. I’m going to miss her so much. She was my best friend and life partner. She was a loving and giving person. She has left 8 grandchildren. I See her in them so much that I’ll hold them close for the rest of my life. Lynn is at peace now and is resting in our Saviors arms. She was the best part of my life. I will always love her.

    Words cannot describe what it is like to know that you are not here with us. You are too young to be gone. For someone so small you were full of laughter and love and life. Thank you for being the best part of my brother’s life. We have your children and grandchildren to love. They are awesome people and a true reflection of you. You were an amazing person, a part of our family that will always be missed. So thankful that you are with Jesus so we can all see you again.
