I am still shocked about Denise, when Carl Bartke said to me did you year about Denise, I said yes she is getting married, good for her and then he told me. She was a special person and friend whom I will miss very much. My sympathies to all her family whom are very special people too. Love Sue

I don’t really know what to say, except my prayers and thoughts are with you. Since my mother’s funeral I can’t bring myself to go to anyone’s. Christy, Denny and good ol’ Di DEE I know you more then the rest of the family and I’m extenting my love, thoughts, and prayers to you. I will always remember the day Neecie and I graduated from Bay. I was in a wheelchair then and she wheeled me to the stage to get my ASSOCIATE’S. She was always so full of love for my family and I. I will miss her beautiful smile and personality always.

Our family extents sympathy to you all.

    Love,

Carl, Ann, Dave(Candice), Christopher, and Andy Bartke

    Mom

Why so soon should we be parted?
To leave us all here broken hearted
You gave to us the gift of life
And kept us safe from harm and strife
So much love you had to give
which gives us the strength to live
without having you by our side
And to have loved you fills our hearts with pride
You were our rock, our guide,
    best friend and mother
    Unique, there will never be
    quite another

    To a better place now
    you have gone;
    From this world, yet
Your spirit will forever live on
All the joyous times we laughed together
Will be with us always and forever
So many memories in our hearts
    We’ll never really be apart.

I want to express my sympathy to your family and to Jeff. I didn’t know Denise very well or for very long, but I was fortunate to spend quite a few days with her in the hospital in Escanaba. I was her nurse. I enjoyed spending time with her. I could tell that Denise was a very special person and that she will be greatly missed by all. God bless all of you.
