Delila J. Goin

Delila J. Goin, age 86, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba.

Delila was born June 4, 1934 in Munising, Michigan, the daughter of RV and Margaret (Britz) Williams. Delila enjoyed going to casino’s, singing and doing karaoke, and going to dances. She will be deeply missed by many.

Delila is survived by daughter Crystal (Warren) Harris of Escanaba, son Dale Hayes of Escanaba, sisters Sharon Frigard of Chatham, Beverly (Sonny) Vardon of Munising, and Gail Williams of Sault St. Marie, grandsons Jacob Harris of Tennessee and Nathaniel Harris of Green Bay, granddaughter Caitlin Harris of Escanaba, and great-granddaughter Sophia Harris of Escanaba. Delila is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Delila was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Fred Goin, and siblings: Harold “Buster” Williams,William “Sonny” Williams, George “Gabby” Williams, Aurthe “Kenny” Williams, Robert “Bob” Williams, Raymond Williams, and Patsy Williams.

Services for Delila are being planned for a later date. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Goin family.
