Deborah Lynn (Phillips) Klein, age 72, of Gladstone, passed away Tuesday morning, May 2, 2023 at Christian Park Healthcare in Escanaba.
Debbie was born on October 10, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Alfred “Jim” and Arlene (Payne) Phillips. She graduated from Greenfield High School. She was also a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone.
Debbie is survived by:
Son: Jason (Laura) Norman of Green Bay, WI
Brothers: James (Robin) Phillips of Rapid River, MI
Donald (Carol) Phillips of Gladstone, MI
Richard (Scott) (Vicki) Phillips of Waukesha, WI
Grandchildren: Joseph (Rachel), Abigail, Anthony, Nicholas, Gabrielle, and Jacob Norman.
Great Grandchildren: Michael, Jameson, Margaret and Ava Norman.
And several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Debbie is preceded in death by her Parents
Family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 11-1PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A memorial mass will follow at 1:30 PM at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone and a luncheon will follow in the church hall.
The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Klein family.

As being one of the “several nieces”. I was 1 out of only 2 that was holding her hand when she took her last breath at 3:27 in the morning on May 2nd. We stayed at Christian Park with her for weeks on end before this round it was only 4 short but yet long days. I would do it over and over again.
