David Francis Quinn, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. His beloved wife, Roseline Marie Quinn, age 87, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020.

David and Roseline dedicated their lives to each other and their family. They made their home in Manistique, Michigan and in later years moved to Escanaba, Michigan. David and Roseline were married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1953 and together raised five children: Danette (Dennis) Ash of Rapid River, Ann (John) Thennes of Escanaba, David (Lori) Quinn of Madison, N.C, Peter Quinn of DePere, WI, and Philip (Jeannie) Quinn of Annandale, MN. They were lovingly known as “Granny and Papa Quinn” to their 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

David is survived by his brother, James Beaudry of Manistique, MI. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Beaudry, his step-father, James Beaudry and sister, Patti Beaudry.

Roseline is survived by her brother, James Kasbohm of Bridgeton, MO, and her sisters, Emy Carper of Burton, MI and Marie Gray of Oostburg, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Emma Kasbohm and her sister, Eileen Thornhill.

David and Roseline were blessed with an exceptionally long and happy marriage. Going for Sunday drives was one of their favorite things to do. They would get in their car and see where the road would take them. Their family wishes them happy travels as they explore the endless highways of heaven.

It was David and Roseline’s wish to have their ashes buried together as an expression of their everlasting love for each other. Joint graveside services will be held in Manistique, MI at the Fairview Cemetery at the family’s convenience in the spring of 2023 followed by a celebration of their lives. AFTERGLOW-I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways. Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
