Daryl Jonathan Bush, age 61, of Manistique passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, January 29, 2015 at his home with his family by his side.
Daryl was born August 17, 1953 in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Ralph and Rosaline (Wirth) Bush. He was united in marriage to Kathy Caraher on January 5, 1979 at the Kings Chapel in Spring Arbor, Michigan. He worked for the Department of Human Services for many years and enjoyed building boats and planes and carpentry.
Daryl is survived by his wife, Kathy of Manistique, four children, Erika (Craig) Marcella of Gladstone, Joe (Lindsey) Bush of Mason, MI, Kahla (John) Osterhout of Gladstone and Matt (Chelsea Wood)Bush of Manistique, seven grandchildren, Kaylee, Makenna, Brendan and Elliana Bush, Jersie and Macie Marcella and Anabel Osterhout, one brother, DuWayne Bush of Jackson, MI, two sisters, Virginia Marvin of Coldwater, MI and Deborah Verwiebe of Flint, MI and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Wirth.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Gilroy officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Gladstone American Legion.
