Dan R. Jensen, age 61, of Gladstone passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the UP Health System in Marquette following a long struggle with cancer.
Dan was born November 22, 1963 in Escanaba, the son of Robert and Ellen (Roueche) Jensen. Dan started his working life early with a paper route and then in high school worked at Bay de Noc Lure Company. He began his more than 35 year career as a machinist at Lakeside Machine, and EMP until retirement. He enjoyed living a simple life. He was a caring, thoughtful man with a gentle soul. Dan was a lover of music, an avid Packer fan and loved spending time with family, friends and his dog, Tank.
Dan is survived by his sons, Travis Jensen and Tyler (Tanya) Jensen, granddaughters, McKenna and Madeline; his siblings, Rob (Shelly Williams) Jensen, Julie ( the late Larry) Andreini, Dave (Sara) Jensen, Laura (Paul) LaPine and Jane (Ron) Brow; nieces and nephews, Nick (Arthur) Petrovich, Megan (Donald) Wallenfang, Natalie (Sean) Anderson, Allison Jensen, John (Rebecca) LaPIne, Emily (Blake) Panasiewicz and Bradley (Alyssa) Brow, Sister Mary Paul Jensen and Sam (Melissa) Jensen, multiple great nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Tank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Ann Jensen and a nephew Benjamin Brow.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
