I remember Cindy fondly both as an MSU colleague and first as a teacher at Gladstone High School. She was a wonderful lady, a great MSU Extension educator, and an excellent leader. My best to your family.

Cindy was a dear cousin who loved to go on memory trips with her mother, Aunt Georgie. My mom, Polly was always so happy when they came her way for a visit! Cindy set a loving role model for a caring cousin who made those calls to keep us cousins in the loop of family happenings. I will certainly miss Cindy and those calls. I remember how happy she was at her wedding to Pete and how thrilled i was to be there! Their lovely daughters gave them a surprise 45th anniversary party which many cousins attended in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. All the love-filled tributes certainly affirm what all of us have known about Cindy being a true believer in our Lord and who lived according to the Love of others that is the foundation of our faith…Love God with all your heart, mind and soul and Love one another as I have loved you…I’m so thankful for your influence in my life dear cousin and I will miss you dearly.

I was saddend to learn of Cindy’s passing. She was a true friend and colleague in MSUE-UP during my career in the Upper Peninsula. It was said to hear another member of the “Old Guard” has passed. Prayers for your family and the many lives you touched throughout your career. God’s Peace my friend!

Cindy has moved on, but I want to share the strong impression she made on me over the years, and even the inspiration she was. We were assigned as “prayer buddies” when I was in youth group in the early 2000s under Heather McMillan. I remember some cards and kind words from Cindy right away. But more amazing to me was that she kept her eye on me even years down the road. She kept praying and would say a few kinds words of encouragement here and there nearly 2 decades later. What a testimony of faithfulness and prayer!

I knew Cindy when I worked at Bay College and she put on events there. The big one was Women’s Day on Campus, and she put her hold heart and soul into it. A sweet woman, who put the needs of others before her own. I haven’t seen her in years, but she made a huge impression on me. Rest In Peace Cindy. My condolences to the whole family.

I remember Cindy from NMU in 1967. We dated for a while. Cindy was a beautiful woman. I remember going to church with her while we were students and Northern Michigan.
