Clara Bricco of Pensacola FL passed away May 25 at 104 years of age.
She was born in Wikiwemikong, Ontario Canada but resided in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for much of her life. Clara lived in Pensacola with her loving daughter and son in law for the past 13 years.
The widower of Stanley Piteau, Clara had three daughters and one son; Thelma Collins, Darlene (James) Ferack, Edna (Richard) Ball and Danny (Becky) Piteau. A Widower from her second husband, Mark Bricco, she was stepmother to Roger (Bonnie) Bricco, Michael (Margie) Bricco, Robert Bricco, James (Karen) Bricco, Gary (Barbara) Bricco and Patrick (Diane) Bricco.
Clara had twenty-three grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren. She was quick witted, active, and an avid book reader. Clara continued to be quite enthusiastic with boating, RV’ing, crocheting, knitting, making costume jewelry, seamstress and a frequent casino participant. An enthusiastic fan of the Green Bay Packers, she hardly missed a Packers game on TV. Clara was looking forward to traveling to Michigan this summer and Missouri in October to attend an international airstream rally.
Clara was truly a loving and caring Christian that always lit up the room that she entered; showing love, kindness, and friendship to whomever she met. Clara was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone and later St Anne Catholic Church in Pensacola. Loved by ALL, she will be sorely missed.
Clara’s family will receive friends at Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone on July 19 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am; Funeral services celebrating the life of Clara Bricco will follow at 10:30 with Rev. Fr. Jamie Ziminski of All Saints Catholic Church officiating.
We love you, miss you and wish you Fairwinds and following seas through Eternity.
