Christopher J. Neurohr

Resided in Escanaba, MI
Died August 9, 2021

Christopher J. Neurohr, age 58, passed away early Monday morning, August 9, 2021 at his home.

Christopher was born on October 31, 1962, the son of Frederick and Ramona (Dahn) Neurohr.

Chris spent a lot of time working in his parents store and helping where he could. His true purpose in life was to build engines. He was an outstanding mechanic and there was no engine he couldn’t fix.You could find Chris roaming any junk yard with his friends looking for a project to work on if he wasn’t in his garage working on engines. He also loved motorcycles and rebuilt several basket cases. Chris’ favorite part was taking something that didn’t work and making it run again.

Chris also enjoyed restoring old guns, reading, searching for good finds at rummage sales and spending time with his friends and family. He especially adored his grandsons and taught them everything he could about cars. He was ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Chris was united in marriage to Margaret Herzog on February 8, 1984. Together they made their home in Brampton and raised their only daughter, Stephanie. He was extremely proud of her.

In addition to his loving wife Margaret, Christopher is survived by:
Daughter: Stephanie (Stephen) Vanderlinden of Perkins, MI
3 Grandchildren: Connor, Carter, and Cameron Vanderlinden
Special Nephew: Christopher Bratonia
Special Niece: Kimberly Bratonia
Additionally, several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

A special thank you to his nurses Dawn, Jarvey, and Jen Savard who made the last 2 and a half years possible.

Christopher was preceded in death by his Parents.

The Neurohr family will be hosting a celebration of life at his home in Brampton on August 21, 2021 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family would like you to consider making a donation to the Pink Pumpkin organization or the Cancer Alliance of Delta County. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Neurohr family.
