Charlotte Ann Erickson, age 81, of 5470 25th Road, Gladstone, passed away Monday morning June 20, 2011 at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
Charlotte was born July 27, 1929 in Iron Mountain, MI the daughter of Ira and Carmen (Greenless) Farrell. She was raised in Hardwood, MI and she was a graduate of Sturgeon High School. Charlotte was united in marriage in June of 1949 to Don Erickson and they lived most of their married life in Brampton. They just recently celebrated their 62-year wedding anniversary.
Charlotte spent most of her time working their family farm where she helped raise cattle and bailed hay. Her hobbies included reading, painting, and listening to music. Family and friends remember her as always offering a helping hand and the welcome mat was always out at their home.
In addition to her husband, Donald, survivors include son Don (Janice Basley) Erickson of Gladstone and brothers Patrick Farrell of Milwaukee and Keith (Linda) Farrell of Gladstone. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
In addition to her parents, her sister, Sharon Taller, preceded Charlotte in death.
Charlotte
