Carol A. Lancour, age 82, of Escanaba, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at her current residence, LakeHouse in Escanaba.
Carol was born on May 20, 1942 in Gladstone, the daughter of William and Elodie (DeCook) Hendrickson. She attended and graduated from Gladstone Area Schools Class of 1960.
Carol was united in marriage to Wayne Lancour on March 25, 1961 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. He preceded her in death in 2021.
Carol was a long time member of All Saints Catholic Church. She also volunteered for 18 years at Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
Carol enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. In her earlier years she liked to go camping as well.

2 Sons: Greg (Diane) Lancour of Atlanta, GA
Gary (Barb) Lancour of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
Brother:William (Nancy) Hendrickson of South Haven, MI
5 Grandchildren: Brandon Larson, Mandy Lancour, Michael Lancour, John Lancour and Samantha Lancour
3 Great Grandchild: Carter, Thea and Noah
Carol is preceded in death by her Parents and Husband, Wayne Lancour.
A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone with Rev. Fr. Brandon Yanni officiating. Carol will be laid to rest in Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells, MI.
