Carol J. Klotz, age 79, of 5117 18th Road, Escanaba, passed away Monday morning September 26, 2011 at home following a lengthy illness.
Carol was born September 16, 1932 in Gwinn, MI the daughter of Orville and Mary (Raymond) Tolman. She was united in marriage to Joseph Klotz on July 24, 1958 in Escanaba. They made their home in Gladstone where they raised their children. Later in life they relocated to their current location in Escanaba.

Carol enjoyed working in her garden, especially with her flowers. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, canning and fishing. She especially treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

William (Tammy) Klotz of Escanaba
Allen (Debra) Klotz of Gladstone

5 daughters: Carolyn (Jim) Moulds of Gladstone
JoAnn Burris of Traverse City, MI
Cindy Dagnault of Escanaba
Bonnie Weiss of Colorado Springs, CO
Brenda (Dave) Hereau of Gladstone

Brother: Warren (Janet) Tolman of Escanaba

3 sisters: Nancy (Ted) Broeders of Perronville, MI
Alice Johnson of Escanaba
Orvilla Sedenquist of Escanaba

23 grandchildren, 14 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on November 16, 2001, son, Dale, daughter, MaryLou, daughter-in-law, Ingrid, grandson, Michael Richards, brother, Mearl, sisters, June and Charlotte.
