Carol June Erickson, age 66, of Escanaba passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at her home.

Carol was born June 25, 1946 in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Wallace A. and Lorraine J. (Hedsten) Kemmer. Her family moved to Escanaba when she was four years old. She attended the St. Patrick and Holy Name Schools and graduated from the Escanaba High School in 1964. She attended St. Anne

    Cheryl, So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. She would always invite me to go to your house on holiday’s if I had no where to go. She was a very good neighbor and I’m glad I got to know her.Will miss not seeing her. I remember when I used her apple corer she laughed so hard when she saw 3 hugh boxes of apples under my table. What a fun day one of many.

    Cheryl, so sorry for your loss. I went to High School with Carol, and enjoyed seeing her every summer at the Holy Name Class of ’64 Ladies Luncheon. May she rest in Peace.

    Carol was always smiling that beautiful smile when she came to the Senior Center with her friends from Meadowbrook. She had a beautiful spirit and will be remembered with a smile.
