In the 3 years I worked with/ for Carol at ALS, her and I became very close. With her being nonverbal, deaf and completely blind in one eye, I was able to find a way to know exactly what she wanted every single time. She loved getting out in the community, loved to help in the kitchen, loved to color, play dress up and more. She had a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up a room. She will always be remembered and missed by many. I’m very thankful to have known her in the time I did.
