Brenda K. Demeuse

Resided in Escanaba, MI
Died September 13, 2019

Brenda K. Demeuse, age 59, of Escanaba, passed away in her home on Sept. 13, 2019, while surrounded by her loved ones after fighting a long battle with cancer.

Brenda was born in Green Bay, WI on December 28, 1959, the daughter of Dale and Donna Herlache (Semrau). Later in life, she married Gregory Demeuse and together they resided in Escanaba.

Brenda was a big lover of the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, being in nature, and the birds. She loved watching them on her various bird feeders. She also loved cooking and grilling out. And no matter what she was cooking, she was never caught without her apron on. Amongst all of her other hobbies, her family would describe her as being a fun loving, free-spirited woman who knew how to have a good time. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

In addition to her loving husband Greg, Brenda is survived by:
Daughters: Rachel Huskey and Audrey Huskey.
Brothers: Jeff (Chris) Herlache and Mitch (Linda) Herlache.
Father and Mother In Law: Dan and Sharon Demeuse.
Step-son: Derrick (Marie) Demeuse.
Grandchildren: Liam and Nash Demeuse.
Nieces and Nephews: Dani Moya, and countless others.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Donna Herlache (Semrau), her sister, Pam Herlache as well as her nephew Rudy Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the Demeuse family.

Brenda’s family will receive friends on Friday Sept. 20, from noon to 3 P.M. at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. The family asks that friends incorporate green attire however they see fit, to pay tribute to Brenda’s favorite color.

Thoughts and Prayers going out To Rachael and Audrey and Greg and the rest of your family. She was an awesome friend and will be missed dearly.

I have fond memories of Brenda my cousin, from my younger days….celebrating Christmas at their home in Green Bay. She was a great big cousin and let me hang out with her friends when we were visiting in Escanaba. I thought that was cool since I was younger. I remember she was always smiling and joking, so much fun to be around. RIP you’ll be missed.

Brenda was my cousin, I am the youngest of our cousin tree, so I don’t have many memories but I know she will be missed and will be happy to see our loved ones we have lost again. Cherish all the memories!
