Bradley Roy Peterson, I met you in 1984 and you changed my world. We “grew up” together, you taught me so much about loving and caring for those I served. You’re infectious laugh and awesome personality made it impossible for anyone to not love you from the moment they met you. Two Disney adventures, swimming with dolphins, camping trips and so much more throughout the years! Brad lived a full and wonderful life with people who truly cared and loved him without reservation. He will forever be a part of his Bridgewood family! We love you Bradley Roy Peterson for good!!! ❤️❤️

I want to express my sympathy to Brad’s family and all of the good folks who helped Brad daily at Bridgewood.
I know he missed his mom and dad, as he had expressed many times when I had the privilege to care for Brad during the two years I worked at Bridgewood.
Brad always had a smile and now we give him back to God with all of his parts perfectly working, together and no more worries.
Blessings!
Aaron

The Peterson Family lived across the street from my family growing up. We all got to know each other well like most neighbors do throughout the years and admired the entire family. ( chaos and fun ) As a young boy, I got to understand that Brad was extra special. When I say special, I mean – Brad was always friendly, kind, very energetic, and our family knew immediately he was loved by his family who did not treat him different – just gave him special attention. I will never forgot when Jackie asked me if I would be interested in working with special people like Brad as a job – and I jumped at the chance. All though high school, and 4 years in college – I worked with residents in group homes that proved very rewarding to me personally, and witnessed the great progress people with needs like Brad had in setting like this. Jackie was a visionary – and I will never forget her dedication to Brad and people like him, but also she raised her other kids that went on to become great people and life long friends. Brad lived a care free – happy life because his family made him special everyday. Everybody that knew Brad – also had their likes improved for having know him. Rest in Peace Brad, your smile and energy will always live on.

Way back in the day, I met a lady named Jackie Peterson and helped her set up Bridgewood NPHC. I was a Home Supervisor; Brad was my first resident.
Getting to know him was a highlight of my time there, and receiving one of his ‘hugs-with-no-hands’ was a uniquely ‘Brad’ treat.
This world is gonna miss you, buddy…
