Escanaba, MIBeverly Julia Dupey, age 91, of Escanaba, Michigan, passed away peacefully Saturday July 12, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born August 17, 1922 the daughter of Elmer and Blanche Walker.
Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Fern Dupey in 2004, daughter Arlene Behlendorf, parents Elmer and Blanche Walker, Stepfather Ernest Lacrosse, Sister Betty Wagner and brother Elmer Walker.
Graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School, Escanaba, worked for the Escanaba school system, Girl Scout leader, long standing member of Daughters of Isabella, loved to camp and travel, avid golfer and was a member of the Escanaba Country Club, member of St. Joseph and St. Anne

I often wondered where and how Mrs Dupey was doing, she worked in the office of the old Webster School when I was a student there. I remember many times going to the office for an egg on my head from falling off the monky bars or other injury. As a young student, Mrs Dupey always made me feel better and was a source of comfort. I am sorry for your loss, and please know she has touched me in a very special way.
