Bennie A. Lippens, age 87, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, May 9, 2012, at the Christian Park Health Care Facility in Escanaba, surrounded by his loving family.

Bennie was born March 10, 1925, in St. Nicholas, the son of Adolph Sr. and Sibilla (Lafault) Lippens. Bennie was raised in St. Nicholas and attended the Rock school system. Bennie left school at a young age to work on his family

    So sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad and my Uncle Ben. I last visited Uncle Ben on 5-5-12 and several times he asked me for water to drink. I gave him a kiss and a last hug and told him I love you. He told me he didn’t want to be in pain anymore. Good-Bye Uncle Ben.
