Words can’t express how much I will miss my dear friend of 42 years. We have had so many laughs and memories over the years and I will cherish them forever. Barb was one of a kind. She was not afraid to speak her mind but at the same time was one of the kindest souls you would ever meet. We would always say we would try most anything once and if we liked it you could bet we would do it again. She cherished her family and friends and loved with her whole heart! We are all going to feel an emptiness without her here. My deepest condolences go out to Steve, Scot, Kari and the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time and in the days ahead. Lord please give us the strength to learn to live without her. Barb please watch over all of us and rest in peace my beautiful friend! Love you ❤️

Barb and I were best friends, growing up together on farms in Fibre, MI. She was always so fun to be around, loved to laugh and loved to tease. After not seeing each other for over 40 years, when we finally did meet we were able to pick up from where we left off that many years prior. That doesn’t happen often. I’ll miss her, knowing we didn’t get a chance to visit last summer in the U.P.
Blessings to Steve, Kari, Scot and families. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

We are truly sorry for your loss. Barb was a bonus Grandma to Rylee. Always checking in and keeping us updated on how things were going and checking on Rylees path in life. She treated all of her daycare kids as if they were her own. She will be truly missed by all.

We had such a wonderful time with Barb and her family, at their home this fall, as she hosted our annual cousin’s gathering. She and her sister Darlene have always been an entertaining addition to the family. Barb was so loved by so many and will be missed immensely. All of the cousins will be toasting Barb during her celebration of life, in our own homes, in our own way. Wish we could have been there in person to pass out hugs to Steve, Scot and Kari. Love from the cousins, Judy, Sandy, Susan, Linda and Kim
