I had the honor of sharing my classroom with this wonderful woman. I absolutely enjoyed working with Barb. She was so helpful and kind to everyone. All of the students and staff loved her. She was so proud to be everyone’s grandma. She spoke often of her family. I remember how excited she’d be in the spring when it was time to go mushroom picking, but she would never reveal her secret spots! It was a pleasure knowing her! Rest in peace, Grandma Barb.

I just want to extend my sympathy and prayers to all of Barb’s family. I feel privileged to call Barb my friend. We started out working in the Gladstone kitchen for Community Action and became good friends for a long time. I was so shocked to see that Barb had moved to Bishop Noa.I knew she was having back and hip problems as I would see her at church. She was a very hard worker and a kind, caring, loving soul. I had the privelege of meeting,I believe most of her children and some of the grandchildren. Her and I had a lot of good laughs together and conversations. She could bake and cook like no other. I am in AZ at the present time but I want to say RIP Barb, you so deserve it until we meet again.
