Barbara J. Doyen, age 86, of Gladstone passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Barbara was born January 20, 1938 in Escanaba, the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Sabourin) Randall. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells. She was united in marriage to Ronald Doyen on December 30, 1982 at St. Anthony’s.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Ronald of Gladstone, daughters, Diane Harris of Holland, MI, Valerie Truckey and Lori Truckey, both of Escanaba and Mary (Dan) Wilcox of Gladstone, step-sons, Terry (Mary) Doyen of Escanaba and Tracy (Shelly) Keskimaki of Manistique; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Judy) Randall of Escanaba; sister-in law, Rose Randall and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Truckey, parents, sister, Kathleen (Keith) Mattson, brother, Norbert Randall and sister-in-law, Linda Randall
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wells. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
The Doyen family respectfully requests that only non-flowering plants be offered or to make a donation to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
The family is very grateful for Lori, Mary and granddaughter, Taylor for taking care of Barbara before and for the entirety, while she was in Hospice Care.
