Barbara Ann Bacsik, age 81, of Hermansville passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.

Barbara was born July 21, 1939 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Schmidt) Kraft. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was a cook at Jack’s Restaurant, the Swallow Inn and the Family Inn for many years. She was also a member of the Rapid River American Legion Auxiliary Post 301.

Barbara is survived by her children, Timothy (Connie) Jolly of Chesterfield Township, MI and Kelly (E. Scott) Bellmore of Hermansville, daughter-in-law, Lucy Jolly of Escanaba;10 grandchildren including Christopher (Jamie) Bacsik, several great grandchildren including Evelyn James Bacsik; a sister, Sandra (Tom) Chillog of Florida and a few nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Jolly, her parents, her brother, Gary Kraft and sister, Jan Kraft.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Barbara will be laid to rest in the Rapid River Cemetery.

The family is being assisted by the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.

    Hey Kelly and Christopher, so sorry about your mom(grandma). The wo derful thing is though she lived a long and full life and she knew how much you guys loved her. Even when you were a little poop chris. I know how much you guys will miss me and we have missed her for so many years now. Take care and many prayers for you all!

    I was so sorry to hear about your mom passing. Worked with her at Jack’s and then the Swallow Inn. She was a hoot to work with and an awesome cook.
