4 Tributes for “Arnold ‘Arnie’ Johnson

Arnie was my training officer at EPSD in 1989/90. He was such an even tempered, easy going guy. Always smiling…never did beat him at cribbage! I just passed down to my grandson the .410 shotgun that I got from Arnie.
Rest in peace Arnie…Prayers for his family.

Harold, I definitely see YOU in your Dad’s picture :). I met your Dad once – nice man, just like his son! Sorry, I won’t be at his service, as we have Mom’s 80th birthday on Saturday. Thinking of you and your family with love and prayers. Take Care!

I worked with Arnie for several years at Escanaba Public Safety. He was a good friend and work mate. I never saw him get angry or have an unkind word for anyone. He quietly did his job and did it well. He also took time to explain anything you would ask of him. One of my favorite memories with AJ was when I was dispatching and he and Ron Mayville would come up to the control center from the fire floor and tell jokes and stories. I loved his sense of humor. He was a good man and I loved him. Rest in Peace, my Friend!
