Anne Rose Daly, 91 of Birmingham Michigan, formally of Gladstone, Michigan passed away peacefully Sunday morning, June 20, 2021, at Tabor Hills Nursing Facility in Naperville, Illinois following a lengthy illness.

​Anne was born January 5, 1930, in Gladstone, Mich., the daughter of Francis and Matilda (Van Damme) Quinn. She was raised in Gladstone where she graduated from Gladstone High School in 1948. Following graduation, she held various jobs until she met and married Robert E. Daly on April 25, 1953, at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. They made their home in Grand Rapids, eventually moving to Birmingham, Mich., where they raised their two daughters. They also resided in Rochester Hills, Mich., before making their way back to Gladstone Mich., in 1990, after Robert’s retirement. They were members of All Saints Church and members of the Lake Bluff Golf Country Club for many years. Anne and Robert enjoyed many travels. Anne was at one time an avid quilter and dabbled in oil painting and watercolor painting. She also loved tending to her flower gardens. Anne and Robert were married 63 years prior to his passing in 2016.

​Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Norm Brinkman) Sheridan of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Susan (Wayne) Porter of Naperville, Ill; six grandchildren, Mary Sheridan, Anne (Ryan) Tierney, Colleen (John) Bache, Jack Porter, Tom (Ali) Porter and Katie Porter; two great grandsons; Jack and Jacob Bache, John Quinn of Gladstone, Mich., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Anne is preceded in death by her brothers; Patrick, James, Thomas, and Dennis and her sisters; Mary May, Alice, Francis, and Theresa.

​Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial honoring Anne will follow visiting at 10:30 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone, with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Chacko officiating. Anne will be laid to rest in Fernwood Cemetery.

    So sorry to hear of your Mothers passing, You will be sad but it is time to remember all the wonderful times you shared with her, that is what she would want from you. I never knew her but thru Kim I could tell she was a special lady, wife, mother, grandmother.

    We are so sad to hear of the passing of Anne. We were neighbors for many years in Gladstone. We have fond memories of visiting, sharing baked goods, and enjoying her presence at our family’s get togethers. She was a lovely lady.
