Anne was born on March 26, 1955 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of Mary Vee Thompson and John A. Gaughan. She was raised in Rochester, NY and Columbia, MO.

Anne attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO earning a 4 year degree in Graphic Arts. She later attended Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba, MI earning an associate degree of science. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, National Academic Honary and recipient of an academic scholarship. Anne could speak, read and write German, Russian and Italian.

Anne worked for StarCrest of CA, Olson Glass Co. of NV, Delta Menominee District Health Dept. and State Wide Real Estate of Escanaba, MI and Columbia Printing of MO.

Anne was united in marriage to Douglas M. St. Cyr on November 28, 1987.

In addition to her husband Douglas, Anne is survived by:
2 sons, Logan Patton and Morgan Patton of Fulton, MO
9 grandchildren
2 sisters, Susan Mayfield and Jeanne Casadei both of Fulton, MO
Numerous nieces and nephews
Mother-in-law Vivian St. Cyr
Numerous brothers-in-law and sisters in law
Her very special dog Leon

Anne was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lee Thompson, father John A. Gaughan and father-in-law Floyd St. Cyr.

Anne enjoyed playing games, calligraphy, reading, singing, listening to music and playing various instruments including guitar, piano, and concertina.

Anne will always be remembered for her great sense of humor, positive outlook even through her lengthy illnesses, and her appreciation for even the smallest blessings in life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to offset expenses.

Visitation will be held at the Skradski Funeral Home of Gladstone on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM for family and friends. Funeral services celebrating the life of Anne St. Cyr will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Fr. Fran DeGroot of the St. Anne Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be at the Flat Rock Cemetery.

    AnnieI have known you since we were 9 and in 4th grade. You were my best friend my whole life. We went through so much together and always stayed in touch up unto now. I cannot believe you are gone but I know that you will bring joy and beauty to wherever you have gone now. I will miss you and our phone talks, We could pick up right where we left off each and every time, like no years had gone between. To Doug and her boys, I am sorry for your lost of a truly special lady. There will never be another Annie Louise. I wish for you strength in this difficult time.

    Theresa and I send our condolences to the Quinn family, I have a lot of nice memories from working with Tom. He is one of the legends.

    Nathalie and I would like to express our deepest sympathies to the family. Tom and Lois and their family have been great neighbours for as long as I can remember. Tom will truly be missed.
