Angela K. Paquin, age 54, of West Gladstone, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, Sunday afternoon December 5, 2021, at her home in Gladstone.

Angie was born December 14, 1966, in Flint, MI, the daughter of Daniel and Barbara (Rasper) Wilson. Angie was raised in Rapid River and was a 1985 graduate of Rapid River High School. On May 23, 1992, Angie was united in marriage to the love of her life Allen Paquin, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Escanaba, and together the couple made their home and raised their family in West Gladstone. Angie provided and worked in Day Care before owning and operating her own professional housekeeping service. Angie adored her clients who became her close friends. She loved to cook, bake and go to rummage sales. Angie had a deep love for her family and created many wonderful memories over the years.

Angie is survived by her loving husband Allen:

Jacob Paquin
Daughter: Brittney (Colin) Barnhart
Sisters: Lynn (Harland) Deneau and their children Audrey (Adam) Fix and
Nicholas (Maegan) Deneau
Brothers: Dan Wilson and his children DR, Corrie, and Abby Wilson
Gary (Kristy) Wilson and their children Justin (John) Navel,
Devon (Emily) Wilson, and Kaylee Wilson
David Wilson
God Children: Ashley Dobson, and Caden and Natalie Fix
Also surviving are many additional aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Daniel and Barbara, Angie was preceded in death by:
Maternal Grandparents: Carl and Dorothy Rasper
Paternal Grandparents: Harold and Melvina Wilson
Niece: Carrie Ann Deneau

Family will receive friends on Friday, from 1:30PM to 4:30PM, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visiting hours, at 5:00PM, at All Saints Church in Gladstone, with Rev. Fr. Jamie Ziminski officiating. Luncheon will follow at the Gladstone American Legion August Mattson Post #71. Angie will be laid to rest at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting with arrangements.

    Words can’t express how sincerely sad I am to hear that Angie passed away so suddenly. It breaks my heart that she was taken so soon. God has work for her to do, although we don’t know what that may be. I am sorry that the miles have kept us apart over the years, but I know she was an amazing wife, mother, and a great friend to many.     Our entire family mourns the loss of this sweet woman. Growing up with our families being neighbors and friends I still think of her as the sweetest little girl. So loving, I knew she would grow up to be an incredible mom… I’m sure she touched more lives than she could even imagine. Fly high sweet Angie.

    What I learned about Angie was that Family meant everything to her and she was a very caring person that was always smiling and cheerful. She will be missed by all.

    Allen, children and both extended families of Angie. We have suffered a tremendous loss of such a beautiful person. A tiny, petite lady with a very large heart.
    It greaves us deeply that we can’t be there for our nephew and children, his brothers, sisters and cousins.
