Andrea Mae Way, age 71, of Escanaba passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Christian Park Health Care Center.
Andrea was born September 7, 1951 in Escanaba, the daughter of Eugene and Marjorie (LaRose) Groleau. She graduated from the Rapid River High School in 1970. She was united in marriage to Quinton Way on February 5, 1979. Following high school Andrea obtained her cosmetology license and worked as a hair stylist for many years and also sold Avon. She was a member of the Lakeside Church in Escanaba where she enjoyed attending church retreats and quilting. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, camping, baking and was an avid Detroit Tiger and Green Bay Packer fan.
Andrea is survived by her sons, Cory (Holly) Way and Jason (Beth) Way, 5 grandchildren, brothers, Ed, Tim, Robert (Julie) and Danny Groleau, sisters, Linda Groleau, Carol Williams and Pam Fountain and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton, her parents, brother, Tony Groleau and sister, Shelby Seegert.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 8 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ryan Gilroy officiating.
