Alida Jean Coble, age 76, passed away Thursday evening, November 22, 2012, at her home in Gladstone , surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born March 13, 1936, in Chatham , MI , the daughter of Peter and Ellen (Koski) Johnson. She was raised in Chatham and graduated with Valedictorian honors from the Eben High School in 1954. On June 1, 1955, Jean was united in marriage to Leonard Coble and together the couple made their home and began their family in Detroit . Jean and Leonard resided in several locations throughout Michigan before moving to Gladstone where they have made their home for the past 26 years. Jean had a deep passion and dedication to the Lord Our Savior. She was a long time member of the Harbor Lights Church of God, in Gladstone , and enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting and gardening. Jean and Leonard enjoyed 57 wonderful years of marriage together and would often work side by side on many home projects throughout the years.

Joyce (Fred) Dube of Washington
Grandchildren: Noah, Jonathan, Adam, Shannon, Timothy Jr., Josh and Derek
Great Grandchildren: Logan, Trinity and Timothy Apaolo
Also listed among the surviving family members are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
