Albert M. Kinkella, MD, 99 of Marshfield died Friday, January 15, 2016 at Stoney River Memory Care in Marshfield.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield with Fr. Eric Berns officiating. Graveside services held be held at the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone, MI.
Albert was born on May 12, 1916 in Gladstone, MI to Fred and Barbara (Frankovich) Kinkella. He graduated from Gladstone High School in 1933. After high school, he worked in a plywood company for five years. He then attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo from 1938 thru 1941, majoring in teaching. 1942 he joined the United States Navy with most of his service time spent as a NCO in the Medics Aviation Medicine aboard a

My parents were good friends with Dr. Kinkella and his family. I remember he joined us for dinner at my apartment in Marshfield when I worked at St. Joseph Hospital. What a gracious man and a highly respected physician.
