Albert G. Kurth, age 89, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, August 25, 2016, at his home in Soo Hill surrounded by his loving family.
Albert was born October 13, 1926, in Escanaba, the son of Otto and Hilda (Plutchak) Kurth. He was raised in Danforth where also attended school. At a young age, Albert went to work on neighboring farms in the area before gaining employment at Mead Paper Corporation where he worked for over 47 years. On September 3, 1945, Albert was united in marriage to the former Elizabeth Sarasin, at Salem Lutheran Church in Escanaba, and together the couple made their home and raised their family in Soo Hill.

Grandchildren: Michael (Jessica) Kurth

Great Grandchildren: Samantha, Thomas Jr., Alexander, and Trent Kurth and
Brandon Jarvey
Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Hilda:

Brothers: Walter, Alfred, Otto, Carl, Raymond, and Richard Kurth
Sister: Louise Kurth
Funeral services for Albert will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Albert will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Wells.
