I remember Ruth and her sisters Carolyn and Linda they used to come into The Star Market. They were always so pleasant and cheerful. Rest in peace the three of you..

I’m so sorry to hear of Ruthie’s passing, as it always goes life gets in the way and distances become larger. I first met Ruthie at St Francis when I started working there out of high school. She always made me laugh with all of her crazy stories!! I left St Francis and moved downstate only to come back home again to go to nursing school and who should be in all my classes, Ruthie!!!! We became study buddies and that’s when I met Caroline and Linda. We laughed so much during those study sessions, how we finished I don’t know!!!! Then after graduation I was on my way back downstate again, and once again we saw each other on occasion when I made it back home. Ruthie was a one of a kind, special person. Life brings smiles , tears and memories-the smiles fade, the tears dry up but the memories last forever!!!!

What a delight Ruth was. I rarely left her without us both laughing or smiling. We shared a humor that most nurses understand. She was one of the reasons I stayed on longer, worked a little later. God bless her. She’s most likely up there chuckling it up with a knee slap. Until we meet again…

Ruth, such a joy. Always making me feel good about myself. She was someone I could talk to. She and Carolyn were so warm and somehow the brightest spot in my day. God bless you Ruth.♥️
