Being the oldest child in the family makes for the one having the most memories. Thank God for memories, I remember going duck hunting with my dad when I was very young. We sat on a log for hours and had many father, daughter chats. It was always so much fun to hang around with my Dad.
Watching my dad turn this house we live in now into our home still holds so many wonderful memories there is not one thing here that he hasn’t made, installed or created. This house was his pride and joy. The love he had for his family was second to none. The amazing advice and true knowledge that he shared with us can only make me hope we are one half of the person he was. He was honest, moral, spirtual and loving. That just touches on the many, many things my father was. I love you Daddy, rest happy now with Mom,Candy, and Connie. We will surely miss you here but know you are in a far better place. “Peachy” was one of my most memorable and favorite customers at Shelli’s Restaurant. He would always bless me and my family when he would come in. He was a very precious man to all of us there. That was one of the things that made me the saddest when I had to close the restaurant, is that I/we would not see him anymore.
My deepest sympathy to the family. We will keep you in our prayers. “Peachy” will be greatly missed.
