Mary Pat Eden, age 90, of Escanaba passed away Friday morning, April 10, 2009 at the Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba where she had been a resident since 1996.
Mary Pat was born April 6, 1919 in Escanaba, Michigan to William and Irene (Murphy) Corbett. She was raised in the Escanaba area and graduated from Escanaba High School Class of 1936. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Eden in 1945 and spent the majority of her life in Milwaukee. She worked for several years as a secretary for the Prefix Manufacturing Company in Milwaukee.
Mary Pat was known for being very proud of her Irish heritage, a devout catholic and an active church member at her local Milwaukee parish. She will be fondly remembered for her gifts of handmade clothing, homemade fudge, and for her kind gentle spirit.
Mary Pat is survived by her son, Dennis Eden of Milwaukee, her sister, Betty Christensen of Escanaba and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence on September 21, 1981; her parents, her sister Margaret Davis and her two brothers Jack and William Corbett.
Visitation for Mary Pat will be Tuesday, April 14 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at theSkradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Fr.
