Louis M. Brunette, Jr. age 91, of Gladstone passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Lakeview Assisted Living in Gladstone.
Louis was born June 29, 1929 in Gladstone MI, the son of Louis and Adeline (Artley) Brunette, Sr. Louis attended Gladstone Schools. He was united in marriage to Irene Posenke on August 18, 1951. The couple shared 69 years together.
Louis worked at Harnischfeger Corporation. He also owned Louie’s trailer sales in Bayview.
Louis and Irene moved to Florida in 1985 and enjoyed 20 years there, returning to Gladstone in 2005.
Louis liked to hunt, fish, and travel. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and going to the casino
In addition to his loving wife Irene, he is survived by:
2 Sons: David (Bonnie) Brunette of St. Petersburg, FL
Douglas M. Brunette of St. Petersburg, FL
Brothers: Wallace (Iona) Brunette and Richard Brunette
Grandchildren: Douglas E. Brunette, Christopher M. Brunette, Daniel (Randi) Brunette, Khonner Brunette
Great Grandchildren: Megan, Daniel Jr., and Ariana
And several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins
In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters.
The family would like to especially thank Michelle Denkins, the staff at Lakeview Assisted Living, and all who sent best wishes and cards.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta
County is assisting the Brunette family.

I am sorry for your loss. I am going to miss going into his room and sit in there and talk to him. We would visit every night and talk. We had became a friend. But now he is home with his parents and not suffering any more. Take care irene. And maybe some time we will see one another. Love tonya
