Mrs. Hughes was a good friend and informal caretaker of my mother at Lakeview Assisted Living in Kipling. She was always looking out for my mother. My mom needed that kind of friend. RIP Mrs. Hughes. Condolences to the Hughes family.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. It wasn’t a UP visit without seeing Aunt Grace. I learned so much from her about cake decorating and loved looking at all her cake photos. She was always good for a laugh and I loved her deeply. She will be missed by many.

You have my deepest sympathy. I really appreciated your mother and dad when I was in high school. After I moved to town, when my mother remarried, they always made me feel welcome in their home. They were renting our old farmhouse at the time. They even had a place for me to sleep if I needed it. They became special friends to me and they have a special place in my heart. May God bless your family.

So sorry we weren’t there to join in the celebration of Graces life, we’ve been out of town for two weeks.
Jim has lots of memories of her from when he lived on the farm all those years ago. She made us a beautiful wedding cake back in 1970.
Our condolences to the entire family, may God bless each of you in the days ahead.
