“Herr” Flick was like a big brother to me when I was a young boy in the 50’s. Later when I was a teen, he gave me my first driving lessons – much to the chagrin of various police departments around the country over the past 60 years. We grew closer then when I worked with him at “Saint Gabes” in Chicago during weekend and summer jobs.
Dick and I loved each other in a “smart arse ” way. Giving each other a hard time was part of the ritual. Nobody or anything will give him a hard time anymore.
Barbara will miss your wicked Dicky Flicky Manhattans. Be at piece “Herr” Flick.

My husband, George and I always looked so forward to seeing Dick and his sweet wife, Donna. We will always remember what wonderful visits we had with him and Donna. Our sympathies go out to her and her family and friends for their loss. Memories will sustain us. Kindly, Maureen & George Potvin.
